Welcome to our café in Nailsworth, where we've been serving the community for 15 wonderful years! Founded and run by Caroline Saturley and her amazing team, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and serving delicious, locally sourced food and beverages. Whether you’re here for a cozy breakfast, a leisurely lunch, or just a great cup of coffee, we can’t wait to share our passion for good food and wholesome company with you. We are pet friendly and have a large children's playroom at the back of the cafe.

Whether an intimate catch up for 2 or a larger celebration we would love to reserve you a table or area. Depending on the size of the group we may require a pre order or hire fee in advance. Our café offers private hire options from small gatherings to larger celebrations. Whether you're planning a wedding, that milestone party, or looking for a meeting space, you can reserve a section of the café any time or even hire the entire space outside of usual opening hours. We also welcome clubs and after-school groups.
BESPOKE CAKES
We create beautiful bespoke cakes for all occasions. Whether it’s a wedding or birthday, each cake is crafted with love and precision to look stunning and taste divine. We work closely with you to bring your vision to life, ensuring your celebration is as special as the cake itself!
TAKEAWAY BUNDLES
Looking to treat the office or create the ultimate family picnic? We would love to provide you with a bundle of savoury and sweet treats made to order. Get in touch to discuss the freshly made menu and book in a collection slot. We deliver locally with a delivery charge.
HOME & OUTDOOR CATERING
Our amazing owner and chef Caroline is well versed in catering for events off site, bringing the delights of The Canteen to your home for your party or outdoor event. Most recently providing 50+ TV crew with their daily meals for 2 weeks, we are open to discuss all kinds of requests for our versatile menu to be provided outside the café.

PART TIME BARISTA: If you know your way around a coffee machine, understand the difference between an macchiato and a cortado and enjoy serving high volume hot drinks then we need you!
PART TIME CHEFS: We are always on the look out for chefs of all experience to join our amazing, welcoming and friendly kitchen team. You must have a creative passion for cooking with fresh ingredients and have a strong knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen.
